I don't understand why people get upset over getting banned at GAF?

Yes but there's a lot of them who spent so much time building up their wacky, zany personalities that to see it all come crashing down on them is a huge shock.
One of the things I liked doing as the forum was turning to shit was stealing avatars of these forum personalities. Then a couple of days later, I'd get a very pissy PM demanding that I change my avatar from the person who I stole it from. The avatar is part of their identity. I mean, if someone stole my synbios avatar, I wouldn't give a shit but to a lot of people on GAF, they've put in a fair amount of effort to be an established personality. I don't get it either but we're talking about manchildren here who won't do much more in life than work the closing shift at Gamestop; their GAF personalities is pretty much all they have. To have to start over with a new name is just too much, especially if they have to keep their head down to avoid being caught n' banned...
I guess in other words, I'm saying blame space sucks at life as does probably Eggman.
