Louis CK has a bit in Hilarious about unreal personalities at bars, like the hot chick or the superbro. That's basically gaf. A collection of absurd personalities impossible to take seriously as real people.
Assuming you're not at an anime convention, asking a group of people "Would you still make the same video game console buying decision in 2006 knowing what you know now?" would result in a thorough beat down. It's a collection of autistic stoners creating the dumbest rules to talk about a hobby. And then they segue into 'games are art' and 'serious game talk'. It's nuts. But others are into that stuff, at least the majority. There are still a lot of cool posters over there in smaller topics but they're the minority.
Evilbore needs a "It gets better"-like campaign.
