aw, that's not true, I usually do both or just the bore.  I didn't visit the bore much on this last stint though.

I always said I wouldn't go to comic con because the smelly geeks were disgusting, and it wasn't untrue the day I went to NYCC - it was a tightly packed mass of grossly smelling individuals who had shit for manners and shit for social skills. I almost got into a fight with someone on the floor for being all disrespectful to my sister for wearing the same costume as his girlfriend. My sister complimented her saying "Nice Ramona costume" and he just whiffs his nose up and is like "yeah, better than that crap she's wearing." I turned around and started lunging after him but he literally starting running and disappeared through the crowd.

But the actual content of the show seemed heavily enough comics... they had the whole artist alley which was rad if you're like me and enjoy seeing the up-and-comers who are struggling to make it. And they had plenty of comic shit in the main hall.

Sure it's expanded into a more general entertainment thing but that's not the problem.

The problem is always the weird smelly geeks.

No I'm not fucking exaggerating.  You're not going to disrespect me or my family to my face and get away with it.  Sorry if that's too aggressive for you - if you have such shit for respect that you do that, even when my sister was being nice, I'll break your nose.  Simple.

We've gone over this before in other threads for people too wishy washy and being all "fuh fuh fuh whys you gotta fight people for though", and the point is you act like a goddamn normal person and there won't be a fight.  You act disrespectful and there will be.  It's all up to you and your behavior.

It's not over cosplay.  It's over disrespect.  It was my sisters first year at an event like this, and she was obviously self-conscious about her costume.  But more than that, it's just a loathsome way to behave to someone.  It's fucking disrespectful.

Anyway I don't really care about what you feel regarding it; that's the way things go.  I'm not a pussy.  If you disrespect me and mine, you get your nose broke.  I only have my family in this life and you're not going to disrespect them.  That's the principle I live by.

I understand nerdcore don't get stuff like this: nerds have a history of letting themselves be walked all over.  I don't.

A person is a danger to themselves if they go around disrespecting people to their face.  If they can't take responsibility for the vomit that comes for their mouth that's their own problem.  This is the real world and in the real world sometimes you walk up to someone who isn't going to take shit like that standing down.

It's a common statement: You have to watch what you say to people.  If you're going to say something disrespectful, sometimes you say it to the wrong person.

I've got into a few fights in my life and they never ended with anything more than bruises and hurt feelings.  Never even been to a police station over them.  It's not the end of the world to get a little physical.  I don't hunt down fights.  It's just when it relates to my family, I have a short fuse.  Everyone has their limit, and that is mine.

Nice try.  I don't drive drunk.  There was one occasion on New Years when the friend who drove us to the party was literally smanged and so I had to drive him home using his car, which is the incident you were referring to.  But much of my buzz had wasted away in the process (i was 'tipsy' at best when we started driving) and the only thing that made it terrifying was the fact there was a fucking snow blizzard outside.  We drove on the least populated backwoods road there was (we saw like maybe one car the whole time) and at like 10 miles under the speed limit which was already like 35mph, and we got to where we were going.  We did it out of necessity: there was no taxi that would come out to us and there was work the next day.

Like always, certain members of GAF twists a simple story into whatever they like to suit their fucked up needs.  Just like the Bs story about how I 'hit' my mom.  These GAF members never learns.
