Not really. I've never noticed Apple being interested in creating software, and a buyout of Nintendo wouldn't be for the hardware division. Super super slim chance that Nintendo becomes an ios developer at some point? Sure.

Real talk, as long as Miyamoto (and co.) is making the games I don't care what platform the games are on. I just fear they'll lose something if they're not making complimentary hardware.

But Apple taking them over specifically, it's not something to worry about. It'll never happen. Nintendo will go out of business before then.

Back in the day when I was still posting on GAF, some Nintard was saying that achievements are one of the worst ideas to be implemented into video games ever.

My guess is that Nintendo will introduce achievements only when Nintendo can find a way to monetize them. Make people spend $5 for them and call them "challenge packs."
