Here's what I'm predicting, so I can selectively quote this and look like a genius:
* The Washington Post is going to run a long feature story, probably multiple parts, focusing on the White House end of how this went down: what they were hearing from the military commanders, what options Obama had, who was in what meetings, etc. BONUS PREDICTION: Bob Woodward byline.
* The military will make the soldiers involved very available to the media and we'll get the detailed story of the actual operation flooded throughout the media.
* Some faction within the Pakistani government will have been culpable, and the US government will try to hide or downplay this fact. Eventually it will come out, probably in drips and drabs with a big Wikileaks style Confirmation Of Something We All Knew a few years down the road. Republicans won't be sure whether to push this point or not.
* Some people start playing that godawful "Boot up yer ass" song in jukeboxes again, but not nearly so much as in 2003.
