I've been rooting for the Pats and Coach Hitler ever since my Falcons were eliminated.  Since conventional wisdom is that the Giants will win, I'm expecting a Pats blowout.

80's Madonna half-time show: Yes sir, I will be watching it.

The actual Madonna halftime show we will get: well, looks like I have thirty minutes to take a piss and a few more shots before the game starts again.

Go Patriots!  You play excellent baseball!  Oh wait?  This is the Super Bowl?  What the fuck are they doing?  Giants win this game based on the principle that they showed up to a football game and knew how to play.

how about instead of a half time show and literally 20 minutes of ads per quarter they shut the fuck up and play the game instead of wasting peoples time.

this is why american football is shit compared to real football.

Very happy.  The game was exciting and came down to the last fucking play.  Love that.  The last five super bowls have been so entertaining.  I honestly think its been the best stretch of super bowls ever.  I'm so excited the Giants won; fuck that Patriots.

So....is that the end of the Pats? They were lucky as hell to get to the SB this year imo. They have no defense, no run game, Brady is getting old, they don't have enough offensive weapons (their TE being hurt really exposed just how weak the pass game is) etc.

Weak passing game? Elite QB, elite slot receiver, two very young elite TE, and a good offensive line (5235 passing yards is weak?). The Pats just need to replace Branch/Ochocinco/Edelman, along with Green-Ellis.

that throw was 75 percent brady's fault if not moreso.  welker is wide open and is gone for a TD if you hit him in stride.  Welker could've made that catch, but it would've been a first down only, not a sure-fire TD.

Year, Welker was wide open and running on that play. Brady threw behind his receiver on the next throw as well.

Real talk from Warner:

“I mean, he has an 82 quarterback rating throughout his career,” Warner said. “You know, he’s had five of his eight seasons where he has thrown 16 interceptions or more. His completion percentage on his career is 58 percent. To me, those aren’t Hall of Fame numbers, and by that, I mean every time you step on the field you’re a game changer, you’re a difference maker. And I don’t believe Eli Manning has been that guy until this year.”

Two SBs pretty much gets you into the Hall as a QB so that argument may be for naught. All Eli has to do is have a few more good seasons

His fourth quarter play is beyond impressive but the overall numbers are pretty lol. Didn't he have more than 30 turnovers last season?

He'll make it, but, as Warner said, he hasn't had a HoF career up to this point.

32 turnovers.

He wins games. NUFF SAID. And that glorified bagger needs to shut his mouf'.

But seriously, Eli's career up to this point makes a case for pure stats not being the end all be all determination of what makes a great quarterback. If that were the case Brees or Rodgers would be riding space mountain right now.

Fuck, there goes my argument. Agree about the defense. Its great how they compliment each other, when the defense is on they keep the game close where Eli can close it out in the 4th.

Teams win games, not quarterbacks. The Giants D allowed just 14 points per game in the playoffs. And, as Gisele Bundchen pointed out, quarterbacks are unable to both throw the ball and catch it (Mr Perfect is the exception*).

Stats aren't everything, but notice Mannings' QB ratings in the playoffs this year was 103.3 and he averaged over 300 yards per game.

And Lord Brady would never lose another game if he had it.  Of course, Tim Tebow could possibly win 10 games with it.

It's the end of an era though not totally shocking. IF he wants to win a Superbowl this year, he should go to the Niners.

Yeah, if he went to the Niners and stayed healthy, it would be like insta Super Bowl. I'm not sure he'd survive though. The Niners line isn't that great and Harbaugh likes scrambling QBs.

I think he'll end up in Miami. Florida is the retirement state.
