Guess what, sometimes something good happens to you and you want to celebrate with a family dinner at Olive Garden.

I know I always bring this up and forget, but seeing as my chances of getting laid here went from slim to nil I'm doubling down on more Star Trek and more animu. What's a good long running series to watch? Prefer pre-2007 recommendations.
I'm not even a fan of Urusei Yatsura

Calamity of a Zombie Girl- Couldn't get through the first episode. This was so all over the place- starts like a bad horror movie with a nonsensical plot, and then when the titular zombie girl (should be girls- there's two of them) pop up, there's this weird shift and it's trying to be humorous, but is instead just completely fucked up, like an old man getting his brains splattered and then one of the zombie girls gets nekkid and eats his brains. What made me turn it off was when a girl rips a dude's arm off and acts all kawaii-uguu~ about it, but it wasn't funny at all due to the tone being so off. Probably a good anime for the Bore to watch.
Just watch Cell Saga, bork. It's gud.

Two new seasons of GitS are in the works, one from Shinji Aramaki [who directs a lot of CG anime movies, like Appleseed] and another from Stand Alone Complex director Kenji Kamiyama:https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-08-02/new-ghost-in-the-shell-anime-will-have-2-seasons/.134977
