Couple nights ago I went to the drive-thru while it was raining super hard. I ordered a couple beef chalupas, one cheesy gordita, and a nacho supreme. I'm guessing the rain caused the Taco Bell rep to mis-hear my order because instead of beef chalupas he gave me bean chalupas...

and they were great

the cream cheese blended so perfectly with the beans

I'll never order beef chalupas again.

Brehs, I made a glorious, accidental discovery the other night. Ordered my usual 2 crunchwrap supremes, substitute beans for beef, but the drive through lady heard me wrong and I ended up with black beans instead.

You create your order on the app, customizing as you see fit, and then place your order. You now have until the end of the day to get to the Taco Bell you ordered from. When you get there, you tap one of two buttons to signify you've arrived and inform them to make your order (take out or drive thru) I usually check in when I'm still a few blocks away so my food is ready by the time I arrive. If you go inside, you just wait for them to call your name. If you go drive thru you just tell them "I'm picking up a mobile order for _________." Payment is handled via the app so you just grab your food and bounce. The free Doritos taco offer seems to have ended (at least in my area)

I passed up the regular Taco Bell to eat at the Taco Bell+KFC since that was closer to my destination and went in around 9:30 so I could get some of those breakfast tacos. The woman at the register said "Sorry, we don't offer the breakfast menu here."

Their breakfast is surprisingly decent and way more portable than McDonalds. Usually if I eat breakfast I cook it myself, but if I'm going to grab something I'd prefer it to be something I can quickly eat on the way to work, or something I can just snack on - say on a lazy Saturday morning. This fits both needs.

However brehs make sure you ask for syurp. Last couple times I've gotten the AM Crunchwrap they didn't give me a packet; luckily I had some at home. I might have to write my Taco Bell representative about this.

I'd try the fried chicken biscuit?waffle? thing. The fried chicken crunchwrap was kind of bland, but it'd likely be better wrapped in that biscuitaco instead of a tortilla.
