Seeing how he made sure to quickly address the fact his political views haven't changed and he is still a libertarian and he wouldn't address whether he has had a change of heart on his prejudiced thoughts about muslims makes me suspect the only thing he has learned is how and when to keep his mouth shut from talking about his off-kilter views. Which I guess in itself is an improvement.

The first for sure. But I dont think that is the best way to describe it either. It's hard to put in words. I guess it feels like if my life was a trilogy of books the first one has ended and the second one began.

Well seeing how you claim to be still a libertarian and a quick glance through your old post history turns up dozens of threads where you make derogatory downright prejudiced rants about Muslims as an entire group...

If not judging an entire culture based on ignorant viewpoints and not believing in a joke of a political ideology is part of Cheebs enlightenment then there is quite a few people who are enlightened outside of me. I must be the only guy who likes the original Terminator more than T2. It's just so perfectly nihilistic. All the terrible shit they go through, and the best outcome they can hope for is that the end of the world proceeds as it did last time. No paradoxes, just a small time loop to preserve the status quo.

T2 is all about the happy endings, so... Not as challenging, edgy, or great as the original.

here's what happened, seeing as it's been a while and all that and it really isn't that complicated

Wilco left, we had an outstanding bill for the -hosting- of the site (can't remember the figure we owed - about $300? some cash was collected, and i covered the rest after offering to pay in full) - there was -never- two boards. Ever. I grabbed thebore.com and please-understand.us addresses. Evilbore was still continuing but as Wilco owned the evilbore.com domain name we were going to HAVE to change name, it was unavoidable as any attempts to contact him regarding purchasing the name went unanswered.

Even worse was that , to my horror , i discovered that Evilbore.com was registered with fucking GoDaddy (who can really seriously go fuck themselves - how what they do isn't classed as illegal is beyond me). So whilst i had purchased the two other names as back up, i persued Wilco (failed - no response) and sat and waited for the dumb as fuck auction period to start.
With seconds to go we were the proud owners of Evilbore. When it finished - someone had magically got in there and out bid us by a $1. A day or so later there's the standard hosting sitter site and a link to instantly purchase the name for $2000. Could be scripts, could be profiteering fucks inside GoDaddy. Fucking redonculous.

In the meantime we'd already moved over to TheBore.com (via Please-understand.us) - it was ALWAYS pointing at this board. ALWAYS. Demi did all the host config magic and we are where we are today.

I -personally- footed the bill for the last year of hosting. I own the domain as well. <evil> I OWN YOU ALL MWAHAHAHAHAAAAAA </evil>
Next TGS i am totally having Evilbore cards printed and i'm just going to have "Owning website, fishing troll" as my title so i can get our name around lol.
as a truly benevolent evil dicator you should have noticed no changes outside upgrades and some new lipstick on the site, no one got super modded, none of my friends suddenly got super powers, no one who didn't deserve it got banned, and Demi continued to run the place like a pro.

the golden age is when we have a front page that contains the only truly accurate reviews in the entire gaming industry (because we pay for the games ourselves and don't have a corporate dick in each hand/hole) and we become -the gold standard- for reliable reviews that the worlds poors can trust.

I am actually mildly serious about this - i've been planning on building another site to do it but i'm starting to think having it bore affiliated would have massive advantages.

Been looking into stuff as well, but it's been mostly a mixture of 2 parts lazy and 1 part incompatibility
