In reality, the 'expungent mouthbreathers' are a minority in Nintendo's base. I've personally only seen one in the wild. His oral communication speech was why the gamecube was SOOOO awesome. Nintendo knows they don't matter and will continue to kill off c tier franchises the nerdlinger collective think *should* exist.
I'm just gonna keep enjoying the games that they do put out while not really giving a fuck if some other box out there has better fillrates or some other fluff.
I feel the console wars are predicated on an insatiable need for new content that self proclaimed 'gamers' convince themselves they need. I was like this at one point. But like those assholes I was spending too much money on too many platforms and too many games and never getting around to the backlog. I need consolidation in that regard, and my preference for Nintendo's design philosophy means I'm gonna spend a few hundred dollars on platforms that host Nintendo software and make due. It seems to have e-cred you have to want every platform and every highly regarded game and if you don't then GET OFF THE INTERNET.
Fuck that noise. And fuck the binary way of thinking that has infected society's every facet. I genuinely don't care about what stupid reasons people have for liking the stupid shit they like. Well, I'm doing my best not to care anyway, Kingdom Hearts fans make it hard.
