Man, it's been a while since I played Bejeweled 3 using a mouse. It's awesome, but not as good as it is with a touch screen. Too bad the iOS version still doesn't have all the awesome modes of the PC version, but it's slowing reaching parity with every update.

I haven't played American Nightmare, but it's supposed to be pretty decent. I would assume it's worth half a fiver.

American Nightmare is a stand alone sequel/expansion. Haven't played it yet myself.

I played Alan Wake on Xbox 360 and thought it was solid/good game. The two included DLC packs I really liked (together add maybe ~3 hours on top of the ~10 hour main game).

Everything Alan Wake on Steam is only $10. Pretty good price for what you get. And if you hate it, you'll regret not spending that $6 on 4 copies of Garshasp.

coming from a dude who loved the shit out of max payne 1 & 2, i thought alan wake was pretty damn boring. gameplay mechanic is shallow and there isnt much variety throughout the game. i hear the expansions are a lot better, but i havent tried them yet.

everytime i review the checkout screen for some shitty console port or sophisticated pc title that i'm seconds away from buying, i manage to pull myself away and scroll through my gaming library to look for all the shitty console ports and sophisticated pc titles i've bought during the previous sales, all of which haven't even been played for more than a minute. luckily this system has prevented me from buying too many titles, though i've been repeating this process every hour or so and i don't know how much longer i can hold out $:-\$

i guess when the time comes, i'll start building a pile on my desk made out of my 360/ps3 backlog to remind me even further that i shouldn't be wasting any more money on shit i'm just going to throw in the closet.

Those were the two most popular games of the trio. It's not really a surprise Qube would lose since few have heard of it.

I lament more than many since I have an outstanding debt with a friend for the $3.75 that Qube would have been (and I want it) since I did that BioShock Amazon deal to give him the key for 1 and picked 2 for cheaper.

L4D2 is still solid, 11th on the Steam list (altered by the sales) and you can easily find games.

I hated L4D, love L4D2. Hard Rain is amazing.

Also the only one that hasn't already had a sale, the poli sci dope in me is hoping this is a control on the community votes.

L4D2 is boner but I find it gets repetitive really fast. I've completed the campaign with a group and that was enough for me.

That's how I felt about L4D because it was nothing but plowing through the linear campaigns and doing versus.

But 2 has much more complex and well designed maps, the layouts can be changed each time, far more variety in weapons and enemies, survival is more fleshed out, there's the mutations, all the 1 content plus other user campaigns, etc.
