ugh, I never follow or watch or care about football, had no idea the playoffs were even going on, and just stumbled in on the last two minutes of this game and I'm STILL pissed off enough to have my day ruined. wtf was that time out thing at the end?

Hehe, I'm fine. After that first half I figured we were toast. A blowout would've been better than this finish on my fragile heart, though!

Falcons are going to be eviscerated by the 9ers next weekend.

Don't worry Falcons fans. We WILL blow this.

Look at that. I was right!

Pete Carrol fucking blew this game by not kicking field goals earlier, and that dumbass timeout.

Has a game ever been so directly decided by a single fuckup by the coaching staff?

Yeah, like 2 or 3 times a season with the Cowboy (see: Jason Garrett calls a timeout, ices his own kicker).

This is what I want.  Harbowl, two good defenses, and two of the best runners (Rice and Kaep).

man I really hope brady lays and egg in the second half.  A Texans/Ravens championship game has two fraud QBs but with great RBs and crazy good DLBs.

Shut up, I'm sick to fucking death of hearing about Jesus McMurder the leader of men and retiring linebacker.  Brady-chek are the only force in the NFL evil enough to derail God's plans for his linebacker.

Rodgers and Peyton go out in the same round and ESPN's frontpage for the NFL is about how Brady's amazing QBness alone makes the Pats the fave.

I think Brady's pretty good now, but for most of his career he was a game manager in a QBing for dummies system. He rarely had tough throws early on. Peytons weakened as he's aged, losing arm strength, but would often make throws that Brady could not. Brady has improved his arm some over the years. It seems better than when had Moss and he was throwing junkballs up and getting bailed out by Moss. His sideline throws are real nice now.

what are you talking about.  his left hand was under the ball for most of the process, tip of the ball hit the ground, but it never left his left hand until he switched it over to his right when he rolled up.  that's a hard thing to overturn.

Congrats to the 49ers, they're the better team.  Maybe one day we'll figure out how to put a team away when we take a lead.  Still, good season out of the Falcons- they were able to achieve more than I thought they could.

Now, let's go Pats!

The week rest for Super Bowl will help with Justin Smith's elbow. The pass rush has been less a factor since his injury and they'll need it versus either team.
