Ugh fuck, Pats aren't playing well enough to win.  2 weeks of ZOMG FIRST TIME TWO BROTHERS COACH AGAINST EACH OTHER IN SUPERBOWL ZOMG on espn is going to ruin me.  Plus, I'm not sure who I'd root for... on the one hand, you have God's linebacker Stabby McMurder, and on the other hand you have a team whose victory would bring etoilet joy.  Fuck.

I hate him too.  But the patriots are cheaters and have been exposed as frauds ever since the spygate story has come out.  they are satan's team

at least I can look at the ravens and smile that Bert has been outperforming Brady the last FOUR games they've played against each other

I was really hoping the Texans would make the Superbowl, but failing that, I'll take a Patriots loss in the NFC championship game.

Nope.  Especially considering every superbowl they won was pretty close.  These things aren't easy to win.  You can hate them, but you have to admit they're good.  That's the price of admission.

I get sick of the phony love fest for the Pats and how often they've benefited from questionable calls.

But I'm also worried about Kaepernick and the Niners turning into that same PR beast.

It's a real shame that not many people know of Phil Dawson's greatness. Kickers are generally an underappreciated bunch, but it's another to be a great kicker stuck on a perenially bad team.

Quote
At 37, in his 14th season, the Browns' place-kicker is not only better than ever, but is among the best of all-time. He has made 284 of 340 field goals, or 83.5 percent in his career, which is the 11th-best accuracy mark of all-time.

He is 21 of 30 from over 50 yards (!!).

Played his whole career in the AFC Central, which all have teams with open-air stadiums in usually nasty conditions.
