 :lol  nice.

The difference is, I would say, "Liberals" in the 2008 and/or 2012 general elections had essentially 2 options to choose from.

Snowden had 195 options to choose from.

True enough.  Quite the dilemma for him.   Asylum in an authoritarian shithole, or extradition to face the rule of law in a country where you don't get put in jail for advocating gay rights.  Hmm, decisions, decisions....

It’ll be here on WhiteNewsNow, a place that is really starting to get interesting because of the presence of folks like you. Birds of a feather flock together, and we are really gathering some quality here.”

Morsy is the Ron Paul of Egyptian politics; secretly supported by a majority of citizens, only to be be denied the presidency by political machinations and backroom wheeling-and-dealings of a handful of elite powerbrokers.

The 2008 run had Klansmen working for Paul's campaign openly and in an official capacity.  This should be shocking to nobody.

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent says he’s considering running in 2016 and already has a campaign pitch: “Hi, I’m Ted Nugent. I have nine children from seven women, and I’m running for president.”

In a Washington Post Magazine story published this week, Nugent told Steve Hendrix that he was “thinking about it.”

Nugent’s wife of 24 years, Shemane, explained that he had talked about running before, “but this time he seems more serious. People are constantly asking him to run.”

In the 1980s and the mid-2000s, 66-year-old brother brother Jeff Nugent helped him do polling for a possible run for Michigan governor. At one point, New Mexico Republicans also attempted to draft him to run for governor of their state.

In the end, Nugent said that campaigning and governing would disrupt his hunting plans.

“I said, ‘Ted, I can help get you elected governor of Michigan,’” Jeff recalled. “‘You wouldn’t have to wear Brooks Brothers, but you would have to be fucking governor.’”

But things are different now. Nugent said that more Republicans than ever are asking him to run.

“Things are just so wrong in the country now,” the Motor City Madman observed. “And I know that my answers would make things wonderful, unless you just refuse to produce, and then I’d recommend that you move to Canada. Or Illinois.”

I never take that stuff seriously. Running for office is work. Hard work. You don't just show up on a ballot and run. You've got to shake hands, get endorsements, do town hall events, etc. The same reason Sarah Palin will never run for any meaningful office is the same reason Trump, Nugent, etc won't either: they don't want to put the work in.

Jobs numbers:

The U.S. economy added 195,000 jobs in June, according to an initial Bureau of Labor Statistics report issued Friday morning, exceeding analyst expectations and suggesting the economic recovery is enduring despite the contractionary effects of sequestration and higher taxes that took effect earlier this year, and recent statements from the Federal Reserve indicating an eagerness to begin winding down its stimulative policies.

The unemployment rate remains unchanged at 7.6 percent, but that’s notably not a reflection of inadequate job-creation, which on its own can sustain the current unemployment rate with fewer than 100,000 new payrolls a month.

Instead, the uptick is due to a welcome increase in the size of the labor force.

The best news in the report comes in revisions to previous months’ employment figures, which are subject to much less statistical uncertainty.
April figures bounced up from 149,000 to 199,000, after a mediocre initial showing of 138,000; May figures climbed from an initial count of 175,000 to 195,000, leaving the three month average just shy of an impressive 200,000 jobs a month
