I guess that's the dev version, so it'll probably be sleeker on launch.

Sony has no shame. Are they really going to try to sell screens on controllers having seen Nintendo innovate that approach with the WiiU? Ripping off rumble from the N64 controller, motion controls with the Sixaxis, and now SCREENS with this unnamed PS4 controller, I have never been more disappointed. Can they not come up with an innovative idea for once in their companies lives? At least with the Vita they at least tried to innovate with rear touch panel capabilities, but this is just getting ridiculous. Sony I sincerely hope you change your plans while you have the time. Maybe then will I consider dropping money on this travesty.

Need to see the back. As the PS3 controller triggers were abysmal.

Luckily they had third party clip on triggers. But the fact I had to go out and buy something to fix that controller says a lot about Sony.

it's weird, i prefer the 360 stick setup for fps, but am more comfortable with the ps3 stick setup when it comes to almost everything else

I like the 360 layout more, but I don't think the symmetrical layout is why the PS3 isn't very comfortable for me. Other controllers that use the same layout are great. Sony's just don't have the grip to feel natural. Reason why this new controller is interesting is that it looks like it's finally changing shape.

anyway, I don't understand the purpose of a speaker on the controller. It was pretty dumb on the Wii.
