My theory is that Dax is trying to push things to the limit until someone else snaps and melts down. Dax seems desperate to try to start conflict, probably under the assumption that someone will start conflict. I think the key to winning is that Dax becomes so insufferable that mods ban her. A similar thing happened with Greatness Gone and being teh gay: GG kept pushing the envelope and the mods got sick of his shit.

I suspect that a lot of it is still an act. Not the trans thing, the threadshitting thing. Imagine if you could get away with spraying shit on every thread you felt like entering into and people really can't respond in kind because they don't want to be banned for being transphobic or have the butthurt culturists screaming at them for hating transpeople...and you know it. So you get used to it, thinking you can say whatever you want to say without any repercussions but you want to keep pushing further because you got this far, why not a little further? Then you get so far out of perspective that you spit on the face of the owner, who has a fragile ego who won't take any kind of insult lying down. Then you get a permaban and this is the main board you spent the last 6-7 years of your life at..all gone.

So Dax's meltdowns make a lot of sense. I suspect she isn't mentally ill but someone who was given an inch and took it ten miles.
