I was kinda like that a few years ago, but I pretty quickly got tired of how empty and worthless time spent on those games felt. Games like Super Meat Boy, Dark Souls, Picross 3D, and Super Hexagon reminded me why I started gaming in the first place; mental exercise. I can still enjoy the more guided AAA experiences, but not often, and not many.
