Crash is a classic series. Wipeout is a goat racing franchise. Alundra makes most Zelda games lol laughable. Every Panzer Dragoon is

Ape Escape is one of the most charming and creative games made. We can do this song and dance over and over, but imo every single stand out Nintendo game - barring OoT, Majora's Mask, Metroid Prime, Yoshi's Island, and Mario Galaxy have been topped by their first party competitors a long time ago. I even put Symphony of the Night above Super Metroid.

though that's a classic.

F-Zero and Wipeout are equals for me.

F zero and Wipeout are very different games that use the same general aesthetic, but even there they are divergent (buttrock spaceships vs sleek futurism). Wipeout is more concerned with the technicalities of hitting apexes correctly and knowing when to lower your nose for more grip, etc versus F-Zero's looser arcade approach of wider tracks, higher speeds and more ships. And buttrock. Worth pointing out that Sega made the best F-Zero tho.

PS: Crash1 is Sonic Adventure tier. lmao bringing that shit up.
