Rah, Wariors games depends on pure interest. They're fan service games and that's why they're popular. If you have a specific interest in a subject, whether it's Chinese history (Dynasty Warriors), Japanese history (Samurai Warriors), Gundam (Dynasty Warriors Gundam), the occult and Japanese folklore (Warriors Orochi), One Piece (One Piece Pirate Warriors), or Fist of the North Star (Ken's Rage) you may like them. They're combo-heavy real time strategy hybrid beat em ups with loot. What do you like? They all play surprisingly different from each other despite their similarities. I honestly suggest Warriors Orochi 3 for a beginner. It is the best Musou title available on the market and it introduces you to the casts of Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors. Plus it has characters from other KT games like Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane from DOA/NG;etc. Between the two flagship series, I prefer Samurai Warriors over Dynasty because characters have more varied and unique movests, the challenge is higher, there's more open-ended goals to stages, they're more replayable, and there's a higher focus on micromanaging the battlefield. But others prefer Dynasty Warriors due to its larger character roster and game modes. If you like One Piece, OPPW2 is a great place to start too. Here's a great video of a skilled Musou player playing Warriors Orochi 3. Skip to 01:59VIDEO
