That's how you need to do it when you use shitty felt tip pens for that purpose. If you make long lines you can't move too quickly, or the colour thins out (he used that to great effect when he drew blue skies), so you have to make shorter, tightly packed strokes if you want solid coverage. You can't shade with those pieces of shit the way you can with coloured pencils or watercolours or whatever.

I shouldn't have looked at IronGAF. The rubbery breakfast rolls I'm eating right now are suddenly not good enough any more.
