I understand the need to consistently enforce the ToS across the entire forum, that makes sense. It's also good to have dedicated mods in community threads to prune the disruptive people. But trying to micromanage or dictate the flow of conversation in a community thread is just silly, especially when it's just one dude or people unfamiliar with the community trying to do it. Gotta let that shit flow naturally, dawg.
