I kinda hoped it was a white american too (b/c people are dumb and are just gonna have their racist beliefs confirmed by a few assholes) but McVeigh and Ted Kacysziniansksdini were lone wolves. As insane as hillbilly freedom nuts are, they don't tend to carry out coordinated attacks on a worldwide scale or even in the U.S.
Correct me if I'm wrong but "radical" is usually written before Islam or Muslim in these articles, right? That denotes a subset of crazies we can agree on that aren't representative...like hasidic jews or members of /r/atheism for that matter. Whether people read it that way or if it's adequately repped as a subset in the article is another matter.
