You mean Joker's "Hey I'm going to start noticbly talk about this character for some reason" made you think "huh they've never mention him before and he's all important now for some reason, must mean nothing!"

yeah it's pretty obvious now that I think about it. I didn't expect that was how they'd introduce

Red Hood

so I ignored the possibility.

So you can't actually fully finish the game until you 100% everything? That's kind of lame.

edit: I guess I have to at least get all but Riddler.

You have to do everything for 100%. You "finish" the game, but you cant initiate Knightfall until 100%. And yes it includes Riddler.

Supposedly they sent the keys to WB so that WB could then send the keys to Steam to have them revoked, but I dunno.

1989 Batman OH SHIT!

The DLC outfits look so much better in this game thanks to the fact that Batman dosen't look like a steroid freak they just painted outfits unto.

The way WB has been handling things, maybe the keys will get revoked sometime next year.

Finished the game and did the not-100% Knightfall. Watched the full ending online. Fun game but the Batmobile can suck my balls. What a terrible forced element.

I just got to a mission where I have to fight a bunch of hard tanks and the only way to beat them is to sneak around them and shoot them in the ass.

Who in the fuck thought that this was a good design idea. I'm circle strafing in a tank while trying to avoid being detected. This is some Resident Evil level of stupidity.

Other things I don't like: changing the way you change weapons (it feels slower and more cumbersome), and the quick fire weapons in combat don't seem to work the same anymore. I also feel like predator areas have gotten worse in every game. In Asylum I actually felt like I could do all the moves and not get caught, now I feel like its easier to get spotted but also you pretty much can win them by just fighting anyhow.

I will say playing the game in the 1960s tv show costume makes it hilarious. And the 1960s skin for the Batmobile is actually pretty slick. The red just looks so good.

Finished this last night. I realized most open worlds get boring/have lots of recycled missions but this just felt like it took the cake. I finished with 96.7% completion but only like 16% Riddler Completion. I don't think I can be assed to get all his trophies. Without youtubing it I'm guessing Knightfall somehow leaves them room for a potential sequel.

Didn't Rocksteady say this would be their last Arkham game? Or is that just a contract negotiation tactic?

I'd love to see Splash Damage do another Arkham game; Origins was more fun than City, and I loved City.

Origins was pretty bad and not just because it was the most broken game of the series.

Splash Damage only did the multiplayer for Origins. Warner Montreal did the single player.

Anyway, reason I actually came in here, they finally got around to a patch:
Quote
Good news - testing for the interim patch has been completed and it is now available for those who already have Batman: Arkham Knight for PC. As a reminder, below are some of the major fixes and improvements that will be addressed with this patch:

Reduced frame rate hitches
Optimizations for system memory and VRAM usage
Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
More Comprehensive In-Game Settings
Fixed low resolution texture bugs
Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)

In addition to the above, we’re continuing to work on the following for future updates:
Adding support for SLI and Crossfire
Adding support for the latest DLC & Season Pass content
Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode
Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play
Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs

As always, we will monitor for any additional issues that come up and will provide further optimizations and bug fixes along the way.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and invaluable feedback. We’ll provide ongoing updates here as they are made available. In the meantime, please enjoy the game with the latest patch.

I'd like to pretend Mad Max's performance even on lower end PC's shamed them into it.
