Ugly win.

It's officially time for Lombardi to go. Not this season obviously, but he has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he should be an OC in the NFL. He reminds me of Walter Sobchak: he has one plan (Saints offense w/big threat TE), and if that doesn't work he's fucked. He's not really getting our multitude of "weapons" involved, he's still asking Stafford to wait too long for routes to open (behind a bad o-line), he can't get easy yard plays consistently, etc. Get him out of here. And Reggie Bush.

This defense is the only reason we might get into the playoffs. And at this rate we're gonna get bounced no matter who we play.

Yes, I doubted the Seahawks, I predicted they would miss the playoffs. And I was wrong.
 :dead

Their last 5 games were brutal, schedule wise...and they went 4-1. I expected them to fall apart. Now...Arizona should be a road win with Stanton out. They'll win out and probably get the #1 seed since they have the tie breaking against GB.

Basically if the Lions can't beat GB in two weeks we'll be the 6th seed, heading to Dallas or Philly to get ripped. We could probably beat Dallas actually, I'm not afraid of them but Philly...

I'd like to chalk it up to being young and nervous (and a porous front line), but Johnny Football isnt going to last long in the NFL throwing every ball off his back foot.

Totally agree with you. This isn't college and he won't survive playing Brett Favre Jr mixed with RG3.

I was at the game, it was even worse in person.

I've seen young and nervous, it wasn't that. He is not an NFL QB. It was obvious he didn't know the gameplan well, even though apparently it was tailored to him (I read the offense was different from what Hoyer is given). His throwing mechanics are horrible, his footwork is BAD, he locked onto one target, etc.

And the funny thing is that all it took was him bullshitting to GMs in interviews and a few workouts to convince draft folks that he was a first round talent. He is a fourth round talent at best.

6th round tops. He is basically a less talented version of Colt McCoy.

So, I need 36 points between Forte and Mark Ingram tonight in order to pull it out in the first round of the playoffs. Would have helped if Jordan Matthews had gotten ANY FUCKING POINTS FOR ME last night. That's what I get for relying on someone that Mark Sanchez is throwing to.

Dudes. the Browns own play by play announcer just put Haslem on BLAST for pushing for Manziel to start. He basically pulled backed the curtain the fans never see and called out our owner for stepping in and forcing our coach to start Manziel over Hoyer.

Does this happen? Sure
Does it ever get outed? Nope

He's fired but damn what a way to go out.

Once again my brownies are a goddamn joke.

We got 2 first round picks and once again, we need a fucking QB.

Big question: draft a QB or trade a late round pick for RG3?

Now you're just fucking with me right? right?

We already have an RG3.....if we keep Shanahan (doubtful, he's gonna go be a HC somewhere) then I'm positive he can turn manziel into a useful mid-tier QB.

This list is U-G-L-Y

http://www.spotrac.com/free-agents/nfl/quarterback/

Although I'd probably take a shot at Locker if the price is right.

Edit: More realistically I hope we didn't burn our bridge with Hoyer. He plays well enough to win.

If we use our picks to add another right tackle and a WR (Funchess god pls) along with the return of Alex Mack and a healthier defense I see no reason why we couldn't compete for the division title next year.

I'm not sure anyone would be good behind that shitty o-line though. But ultimately Cutler is trash and calls the wrong plays. I still think he's better than Stafford though. Give him a good o-line and he can make all the throws with accuracy, whereas Stafford is going to overthrow folks on a variety of plays.

Edit: Just checked stafford's stats. Maybe not. 19 tds versus 10 ints? With them receivers...ugh

Cutler got 28 tds but 18 ints.

I'd call it a tie.
