Funniest part is every one of you cac cluckers got that NFL tuned in every Sunday. Support that cause brehs...watch soap operas or something more attuned to your nature instead

I can't remember the last football game I watched wire to wire, Super Bowl XLVII I think? Take your own advice about assumptions.

And soaps died for me when they cancelled All My Children. :pacspit

I made a side bet with a co-worker that Vick was going to score more fantasy points than Andy Dalton (he needed a replacement for Rothlesberger on his fantasy team). I still may win, but it won't feel good.

The Browns have some real play makers on the field. I think just about any dude can put up some numbers this year.

They're like a reverse of previous, recent Browns teams. Which usually had a competent defense, but an offense that had zero play makers.

Are you ready for some football, PD?

It's funny, all the radio guys here in Seattle are expecting a really close game between the Hawks and Lions.

It's hard not to like Seattle fans. You guys are nice as hell. Everyone knows you're going to suffocate our ass tonight yet all the Seattle fans I meet are like "welp hope it's a good game, you never know, Detroit could give us fits...might not cover the spread"  :doge

Lynch being out helps (while hurting my fantasy team). If I had to come up with a way we win I'd say we have to exploit Seattle's zone. The middle of the field should be pretty open for our TE or RBs to exploit in short yardage. Ironically that's the same weakness our defense has. I heard there was some frustration over how Jimmy Graham was being used initially but oh man, he could gash us all day. As can Russell with short runs.

My prediction:
27-13

I just see no reason to be an asshole to opposing fans. One of my best friends is a lifelong born in WI Packers fans, and we watch the games together.

I'd be concerned about Lynch being out if it weren't for Rawls' 104 yard performance last weekend against Chicago.

With Philbin out in Miami I wouldn't mind seeing him brought here as OC. It likely wouldn't happen this year but damn I wish it would. Lombardi is simply not qualified to be an NFL OC. Our offense is predictable and worse yet has shown no ability to adjust. I watched a bit of SNF last night which was interesting. New Orleans runs the offense we're supposed to be running (Lombardi was NO's QB coach before being hired as our OC); meanwhile Scott Linehan is Dallas' current OC, and our former OC.

NO won the game last night on a wheel route to CJ Spiller. Beautiful play. It's the type of play that would work great for the Lions with Ameer Abdullah in the backfield - and likely would have worked last year when we had Reggie Bush. Yet so far we haven't really done anything except short yardage plays and various screens....

This idiot didn't even call plays for Megatron in game one because he was double teamed :mindblown

Graham was wide open at least twice tonight. Dude has to be frustrated...

Speaking of frustrating, this Lions offense...terrible. We're going to lose next weekend too against a really good Cardinals team. Probably won't score more than 10-13 points. And yet Lombardi will stay. Jesus....

We're cursed, it's the only explanation. There is no science or luck or logic to this, none of it applies.

Stafford led a masterful final drive. I've shat on him all season but that was good football against a good team in a tough environment. And our best player fumbles on the 1 yard line. You couldn't write a better choke story.

0-4. Gonna be 0-5 after the Cardinals blow us out. The season is over fellas. It's been fun. If this was a good organization I could sleep well tonight knowing the front office would be fired at the end of the year. But this is the Lions. And Marth Ford is gonna bring the band back, just watch. Mayhew will get to rebuild this team, AGAIN.

I put up the 2nd highest point total in the Bore league, but lost to AiA, who put up the highest. My dumb fault for not replacing my injured TE. His team played Thursday, and the game just crept up on me as I was out of the house all day.

Still sucks to outscore all but one team and still lose. At 1-3, I'll need to go on a tear to make the playoffs.

:hitler

My squad is starting to come together. I'm looking at a low playoff bid and a quick elimination but not bad for an autodrafted shitpile that I've already made 8 drops/adds too.

Ducttape and intuitive thinking baby.

Megatron is definitely going to be cut after this season; his cap hit will be 24m iirc. I wonder where he'll go. Hopefully a contender, he deserves a ring.

We wasted another first ballot HoFer's career. Sickening. He's still really good and can get 1000 yards with ease. This offense is terrible for him though.

If the 1-3 Dolphins continue this current slide, there will be plenty of cautionary tales to be told about Miami, but the worst — and most expensive — may come in the form of Ndamukong Suh. Through four games, Suh remains without a sack, and his one quarterback hit has him on pace for 20 percent of his 2014 total. Suh didn’t suddenly fall off a cliff — there are both personnel and schematic reasons he hasn’t been his old self — but the well-known problems that come with handing a single non-quarterback $60 million guaranteed have been obvious.

Spending big money on Suh meant sticking with the status quo at linebacker and in weaker parts of the secondary. The same goes for the interior of the offensive line and at swing tackle, which could have used a slight upgrade. Suh’s production will eventually creep toward what we saw in Detroit, but the point, as it often is with free agency, is that the quick fix is rarely quick.
http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nfl-free-agency-2014-15-miami-dolphins-devner-broncos-ndamukong-suh-demarcus-ware/  :doge

Glad we let him walk. Paying a DT with QB money is insanity. Suh will put it together in Miami eventually (imo the biggest problem is that Miami's d-line is overrated, meaning Suh doesn't have the help he had last year in Detroit).

IMO the biggest mistake we made is drafting Eric Ebron instead of Aaron Donald. If we had drafted Donald he could have been mentored for a year under Suh, and then when Suh left we'd have the best young DT in the league. Instead he's in St. Louis bossing it up.
