Theres some geniune LOL shit in Gears of War 2.

Like in the first level the chick on the radio pipes up:

"Dom! We had a lead on the location of your wife!!! Uhhh, but, we lost it or something"

Dom:DAMMIT ALL TO FUCKING HELLLL ARGGHHGHGHG *bangs on a car hood*

Marcus:*hand on doms shoulder* Take all the time you need bud

THE BROMANCE. TEARS OF WAR BAYBEEEEEE. I remember my co-op partner laughing for like 2 minutes through my headset at that scene

edit: lol I found the cutscene and my wording is a bit off, but the words are totally to that effect.

Cutscene is funny af and at 0:10:55

It was bro-sterical.

I remember in GoW1, at least in singleplayer (non co-op), they never really make it clear that when Dom is knocked down there isn't really any time limit on catching up to him. Dom also never follows your directions about "stay put" or "guard this area" or whatever "SIT. STAY." is in Gear language. So I spent most of my time trying to fight my way to where the asshole had advanced, only to be killed right after I revived him.

Fuck Dom. That guy is an asshole.

Yeah the AI was straight poop and the game was much, much better with a Human partner. They improved it in the sequels though, I played GoW2 solo on Insane and the computer was good enough

So much poop.

I will look again at GoW2, but am worried that my camera sensitivity is heightened. I was unable to finish Blood Dragon due to it.  :'(

I'm just going by the cover, but I think I got Styx on PS4 through PSN's monthly giveaway. Which is nice, since I don't have an Xbone.

Did the first two cases in Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment. Not a bad game at all. Very adventure game-esque. You can also fuck up the case and send the wrong person to jail. I like that.

Peggle is incredible but I got 250/250 back in 2009 or some shit. At least I can rack up Costume Quest 2 for when I get a Bone (still need to play CQ1).

I might even try Grid 2 out!

I had the same reaction to the first Defense Grid. It was better than I thought, but it didn't turn me around on tower defense as a genre.

Tron is actually pretty good.

It also requires like 3 playthroughs and has some multi you will most definitely need to boost.

Well, if theres one good thing about GWG is that it gets old games' multi going again and its possible to get the cheevos au naturel. With Dead Island I just joined random games and knocked out all the multi stuff

Tron is a poor-man's Prince of Persia reboot, the colorful watercolor styled one. The gameplay is identical, but less well-polished.

I will probably d/l and play again for the multi cheevos.
