I felt that the best of ps4 and xbone are also available on pc. So there's not much incentive to get a ps4, for example, because I can play Destiny on Steam next year and not miss out on anything. Same with Battlefield, Call of Duty, whatever. Thing is, the exclusives don't look enticing to me either, and there's an absolute lack of Japanese games on the systems - my prime interest - I see virtually no benefits over choosing a current gen system over buying a new pc, and as Oscar already said, I already have a semi-decent one which makes things worse. So personally, Nintendo fills in a niche of game types and games that look refreshing one can't play anywhere else. It's not that I don't understand WHY someone would find Xbox One more interesting, but I question MS and Sony's motivations to try to continue to cater to these sort of games and gamers in this environment given that PC is rising in popularity tremendously, to be short-term and very, very short-sighted. showing their systems off in this way isn't going to do a thing to deter that since, as said, all of these games are coming to Steam or Origin or whatever.
Basically, this past E3, Sony and MS have told me there's no longer any reason to buy a console. Console exclusivity and uniqueness now seem like a look in the past. Nintendo, however brought it.
My opinion of course, and I never said that it wasn't subjective.
