PS3 didn't have shit until Uncharted, and even then a lot of people waited until MGS4. Give it some time, breh. Bloodborne will be out early next year.

PS3 took a long time to be worth anything. I don't even think the first UC is good and never finished it after picking it up with my MGS4 bundle. I honestly would say it wasn't until maybe 2011 that I actually used the PS3 a bit more then my 360. Of course now the 360 is pretty much abandoned.

Bought my PS3 in 2008. No regrets. People can go "lol no games" but honestly free online play + Uncharted 1 > most of 360's online output at the time.

Though the Orange Box was better performing on the 360 for obvious reasons.

I don't really consider myself a hardcore gamer, and you can basically break the game by going hyper mode with a +5 bow and a +5 hiltless, both of which take almost no time to farm.

Gaming side desperately needs a Gaming News tab because 50% of the thread list is Hyrule Warriors or The Last of Us or "look how console X is doing in terms of sales for the nth time".  I know new threads get made for any sort of new news, but it hides the regular game discussion and you have to go through pages to find something you want to read.  Tons of needless clutter that could get thrown into a few threads if we're sticking to just having four tabs.  GAF isn't small enough for this stuff anymore and it makes me less inclined to read it and just stick to other sites for news.

And OT's issues have been discussed in here so frequently that I can only nod my head in agreement.  The thread Momo linked is a decent example, as are the various MRAs hanging around.

I've probably posted on the gaming side like once or twice in months. There's a few decent spots to chat like the iOS thread and before it blew up the Steam thread, but even those are buried by all the threads you've described. Maybe it's partially due to my waning interest in gaming, but I just have no desire to participate in the conversations (if you can call them that) there anymore. It's basically just a recurring loop of white noise. I'm not even bitter or anything, I just don't see the point in it.
