(Image removed from quote.)

So much caring.  :mindblown
I prefer the original twelve:
Quote
•RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
•RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
•RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
•RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
•RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
•RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
•RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
•RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
•RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
•RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
•RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
•RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions

wow, evilore has got to be the least self-aware nerd i've ever seen. also, pretty fucking miserable. dude is proof that the inner bitter nerd never dies even after beating obesity and gaining status.

ridicules his constituents for not getting laid when this dude spent like 2 months bumming his way around europe and getting shot down by easy euro skanks. sadly, these nerds are either too stupid or too dependent on gaf to ever make their fearless leader pay for cheap-shotting them.

despite his gollum visage, dude has money. he also doesn't dress like a total distinguished mentally-challenged fellow like most of gaf. how come he can't get laid?

i mean, i personally think it's banal to attack someone based on how often he gets any, but when in a glass house...

can't wait for his next "trip." that j. peterman catalog doesn't write itself.

that's really offensive to those of us who write catalogs

the thing ###gamergate### confirmed for me more than ever is that i've never been and never will be a gamer. like i never ever called myself that but when you post on a videogame messageboard and follow videogame news and have games writers you like you start to wonder if you have tendencies or are gamercurious or whatever. but when everyone was getting all #notallgamers and so mad at GENERALIZING i was just like, jesus, calm down losers, like it never occurred to me that this was an attack on normal ppl who like videogames.

it feels like to be a 'gamer' you have to really have it as a part of your identity, like
-you love games more than money
-the thought of going to e3 or pax excites you instead of terrifies you
-you buy games day 1
-have clothes with videogames on them
-participate in console wars

nobody does this kind of thing in other forms of media except real loonie tunes people, i just don't get it, unless you are an autist using it to cope with your daily life (i read a very convincing thing by someone arguing this point) it just seems really offputting.

I haven't followed anything about the gamergate since I am too busy playing games in my free time, nor do I care about corruption in the games press because the only games press I bother with are old EGMs, USGamer/Jeremy Parish, and retro vloggers like Game Sack/Chrontendo/ProJared/HappyConsoleGamer/AVGN.

I really don't see that much wrong with wearing a game shirt. Just like I don't with wearing a comic, movie, or bad shirt. It's just best not to wear some gaudy looking thing. Like a game shirt where it looks like they ironed on the boxart and called it a day. Plus the person is wearing it even though the design has started to chip off.

I don't think anyone should care about your hobbies as long as you're not being obnoxious about it.

I mean I would wear a shirt that was say the silhouette of a FF logo or the Foxhound logo. Then again I have a shirt from comic con thats just the X-women on it so I should'nt talk.

Whatever, I just don't wear the Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed shirts from Khols.

I think i have a Yoshi shirt from when I was 15 and that's it.  Otherwise, they don't seem to make a lot of the clothes for women, and my wardrobe moved into the business casual/professional type of clothing.

Some people I know have bought video game-themed glasses frames off of the Internet, though. The Persona 4 frames were pretty popular for a while.  Then there are these Touhou ones, and these ones for Capcom's 30th anniversary.  But video game-branded frames aren't anything new; I remember Nintendo having a bunch of them back in the 1990s.  I guess it's a way to be subtle about it, but I'd rather just get regular ones at the glasses shop because they're cheaper (and more suited to the work world anyway).

I have a Metroid Prime: Corruption shirt, it was a gift from a friend though.

I've seen some nice game related shirts but they're usually just good design regardless of their underlying base content. One Zelda one I always liked years ago was basically the lost woods map but it would just look like some weird ass forest sprawl if you didn't know the reference.
