I'm not one to defend Tyler generally, but I do feel for him in this instance because he made a joke about what is obviously a fake sock-puppet account. Granted, the proper way to deal with the situation would have been to ignore the comment and go about your day.

I liked True Crime

In retrospect I did too. I played the shit out of it after beating it, and also enjoyed New York. It was just disappointing. I expected a genuine contender for the throne (GTA), not a guilty pleasure.

The Getaway wasn't that bad. It just wasn't very good, which wasn't what it was hyped to be. Crazy that we're coming up on 12 years since release.

Mafia was cool as a story-based, super detailed linear game but was dogshit as a open-world. Scarface was fun but stupid. Rockstar were the only ones that could make good open-world games back then.

The first True Crime was a lot of fun at the time. I love how the final boss was mystical with dragons and flying swords and shit.
