I miss them soooo bad! I'm like "bon bons please" almost every time I go to the movies. It's so drilled in my head because they were my movie theatre snack when I was growing up. The cashier is always like,"what's that?" And then I remember! I REMEMBER THE HORROR. You can't even have a strong opinion without offending someone with respect to video games anymore.  Even if you write up a point-by-point argument with citations, some people would probably respond with a post akin to "waaaaah, you're hurting my feelings with your opinions about a video game, stop being mean to my video game/video game character :'(".  Some people want to run around with their hands clapped over their ears to ensure that their opinion is the absolute opinion, I guess.

It's not a GAF-exclusive behaviour, but I feel like you used to be able to say if you felt like something that wasn't a console was garbage without people immediately jumping down your throat as part of a game/character defense force a few years ago there.

You can't even have a strong opinion without offending someone with respect to video games anymore.  Even if you write up a point-by-point argument with citations, some people would probably respond with a post akin to "waaaaah, you're hurting my feelings with your opinions about a video game, stop being mean to my video game/video game character :'(".  Some people want to run around with their hands clapped over their ears to ensure that their opinion is the absolute opinion, I guess.

It's not a GAF-exclusive behaviour, but I feel like you used to be able to say if you felt like something that wasn't a console was garbage without people immediately jumping down your throat as part of a game/character defense force a few years ago there.
