you got the logic completely backwards. the burden of proof is on people claiming there is a god, not the other way around.

it's an old analogy but it's the best one. if i walked up to you and said "there's a golden teacup floating in space" would you believe me? i offer no proof other than saying it's there. why would you believe me? without any substantial proof to back up my claim the assumption is that it's not true. same thing for god. it can't be proven therefore it's disregarded until proof can be provided.

This right here. Agnosticism is a diplomatic escape route for optimist scum.

PD and Ruzbeh. There's no reason to even pose the question whether a deity exists or not. Besides wishful thinking, that is.

When I asked for water to prepare it myself they gave me a shotglass of it.
