I think it's sad that these people have had their private shots made public -- for money, no less. We live in a society which treats celebrities differently than other people, both revering them and also waiting for any missteps to mock. It's not surprising that so many people are attracted to a chance to seeing them unguarded, seeing their most private moments.
I think it's mean-spirited, but it's also a direct result of the cult of personality surrounding celebrities, and the desire and curiosity those structures have been built to deliberately invoke.
It's a complex issue, but it's made significantly less complicated by being the father of a daughter, and one who will already have to contend with society at a disadvantage just from her gender. This whole thing, which would have been so exciting for me in my twenties or thirties, just seems kind of sad. That's my 2¢.
