Last Friday, my wife came home and asked me why I had blood all over my face.  I get up and look in the mirror and find that I somehow cut my head and a neat little stream of blood went from the upper-right of my head to my right eyebrow.  I looked like Kratos.  No idea when this happened, but LOL if it started when I was on the train going home.  Maybe that's why I was able to get a seat so easily.   Pretty sure it happened after I got home though.

Might start doing this.  Am really getting tired of Facebook.  I rarely post anything because it's just so boring. 

Does anyone have any Facebook friends who seem to ignore your posts?  For example, there's a guy I said happy birthday to and he liked every other post except mine.  I sent him a message once and he never responded.  I keep wondering why I have people like this on my friends list-- and why they have me on theirs if they don't want to respond.  I guess I should just do some friends list clean-up, but really I should probably just log out and check the feed monthly instead of daily. 

There is something about Facebook that is oddly stressful for me.  I love fucking around on message boards, but hate FB.

We are a small, start up sort of company. I'm in charge of a lot of stuff, like finance, purchasing, IT, HR.
The fuck up regards purchasing. I forgot to send forecasts to our factory (three months in a row!), for them to reserve capacity. This resulted in them not having enough capacity to produce two big orders, which fucks up a launch in a new territory (we are too late to match their marketing efforts) and us missing our total company yearly sales targets by -5%.

However, since as soon they fire me everything regarding finance and stock goes to shit, I'm covered for now.

I'm guessing the key word is "small" in "small start-up."

Hell, I just interviewed earlier this year with a company, it was clear they didn't need a Producer, they needed a business manager to cover a constant and consistent need for financial negotiation. I told them as much. I didn't get the job, and I think they're still looking for someone who fills their current job description instead of fixing their system.

I concur. There should NEVER be anyone called a CIO, what's the damn point? You're paying a guy a lot of money to essentially beg the other C-level people for money anyway.

IT needs a director who reports to the COO/CFO and a project manager who handles expansions/revisions/etc.

Pretty much why I'm doing my own thing now. A lot of suits pointing fingers and assigning tasks to people not relevant to the project (IE once our CEO demanded that IT take over security because "one of them computer things plugs into it")

Put IT in charge of security guards breh.....First goddamn day I had our security boss tell us basically to get fucked and if we need him he'll be drinking coffee in the guard shack. Watching our IT VP trying to learn fire safety procedures was great fun for us though.

IT breh....nobody knows you when things are working and everybody hates you when something is down. And the time in between is spent trying to show morons how to put corporate email on their smartphones.

Our guys use to put the biggest tech nerd on that help desk.....Mobile Support....he'd leave at the end of the day looking like somebody stole his shoes.

You honestly know what killed blackberry? The horrible outage they had 5 or 6 years ago (the one that lasted days)....any last bit of large corps endorsing BB went out the door.

For us, the nail in the coffin was that the new touchscreen BB's had to be on a new separate server that needed it's own set of licensing. So we would need 2 servers running for mobile email. We don't hand out phones. We reimburse people to use theirs so we really can't tell people to upgrade their phones.

I finally got it but didn't get the popup so I snapped achievements to look and it said "unlocking" on that achievement and then refreshed and moved it to the unlocks category.
