Ugh... went with friends to NJ for retro game hunting... we went to this store in downtown Newark, and I parked on a back street... which apparently was handicapped parking. But the lines weren't blue (well, what you could see of the lines due to the snow). So I got a ticket with a "court appearance required" on it, and no dollar amount when I go to the traffic violations website, so I can't pay it online.
My court date is in 2 weeks but I live about 2.5 hours away from Newark, and am really NOT itching to go back there. Anybody on here have any advice on what to do? I was thinking of calling the traffic violations bureau and explain the situation, and say "I'd rather just pay just so I don't have to take off a work day to head down to NJ to fight it".
