She also falls under "was funnier before she was famous." Once she got a TV show and shit, she started doing more politically aware material, and a lot of it is really obvious. Some of it is good, though (some very good). Then again, a lot of the show material probably comes from a writers room and not her.
Still, I liked Trainwreck well enough. Romantic comedies are the lowest form of art--even pornography is better--yet she managed to make one that was thorouighly enjoyable, even if her definition of a person beingba "trainwreck" is laughable. Really, she thinks she's a trainwreck in the movie? She clearly knows no real life trainwrecks.
Re: Tina Fey. Love her, but she's a far better writer than a performer. She's pretty perfect performing in 30 Rock. though.
