so about Tinder. Do the women that put "I'm not here for hookups, if that's what you're looking for swipe left" (or is it right?) realize that the site is primarily used for hookups? Or is that just a front to not seem like a slut? I haven't matched up with anyone that wasn't a bot. I guess I should lower my standards a tad.
I think I told this before but I have a good friend who used to do part time modeling when he was in college. 6'3", full head of hair, is white but is somewhat dark (part Italian) so he looks vaguely ethnic, and is in great shape.
So after getting divorced, he creates a Tinder profile a couple years ago and holy shit, the responses he got were mindblowing to me. A lot of dudes have the "I'm hot because I got swag" but that's bullshit. When you're a legit 9 or 10, it's a different game altogether, especially with Tinder. He had a virtual harem and could pretty much call on any girl he wanted. He thought the girls who used Tinder were weird and creepy and found some babe IRL and are married and have a kid together.
It's used for hookups for sure but since everyone and their dog knows about it, you get the weird people who don't get the purpose of the app. It's like someone who goes to a noisy and crowded bar to read: you can do it but why?
