What's funny is that Alt-Right and Alt-Left believe in so much of the same thing, just with different faces at the front of it.
It basically all boils down to
"I'm not comfortable with this, therefore it should not exist."

I mean I got alt-right since they gave us (the ever wonderful and rich) "cuckservative." But alt-left is new and I'm not groking where/what it's supposed to mean.
No, I love Sanders. We basically have a "Sanders" as Prime Minister in Trudeau. I love Trudeau.
Alt-left is interchangeable with Neo-Liberal which i find is this strange mix of Conservative views in the guise of Liberal sentimentality.
When I was younger, what set the two parties apart was that Liberals were open minded, conservatives were not. Hence, the name, Conservative.
None, no one seems to want to give any sort of an inch.
That and, especially in Modern Feminism, it seems to only apply to issues upper-middle class white women face.
For example, there's a very large problem in Canada with Native women going missing, to the point where Serial Killers target them and don't get caught. Because no one gives a shit.

Trudeau was one of the first politicians to acknowledge this. Most "Feminists" I know don't know about this issue and/or don't care. They'd rather worry about if their sex is properly represented in Comic Books.
Its sad, because there are women all around the world who are subjugated to terrible atrocities. But they don't get hits on Jezebel, I guess.
TLDR
To me, Alt-Left is this new wave of liberalism that doesn't allow for dissent or examination, without being called, privileged,racist, misogynistic, whatever other buzz words they can find .
I really don't know what alt-left is personally. Its just one of those things that I don't really label, I just know it when I see it.
Like when posters or people in real life treat conversation like a zero sum game. You either agree 100% with me or you are my enemy and no different then the worst the other side has to offer. Where personal judgements of character or association, often derived through assumption, are used as a substitute for addressing a person's argument. Where an over reliance of personal emotional expression is used as rebuttal in conversations around matters of fact.
It's an unhealthy affinity and demand for shared identity and virtue signaling.
It's the regression of critical thinking skills, retreating from intellectual conflict and shunning open discourse in favor of using authoritarian tactics to oppress viewpoints they don't like. Stunting intellectual growth. Its like posters on Neogaf like ekai, Liu Kang, lime, Subpar Spatula, Kame-Sennin.
Basically they espouse liberal viewpoints but embrace a conservative close-minded approach in discourse and often embrace and excuse tactics of authoritarianism when it suits their purpose.
Sanders certainly courted those people but Sanders himself is definitely a classic liberal socialist with an idealist mindset. In both platform and approach to discourse.
