I'm convinced that if MLK wasn't killed, he would be as highly regarded by white American as much as Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton.
This was the actual funniest part of the post to me. Because I
know even black people don't hold anywhere near as much serious respect for Jesse or especially Al...I've spoken to former
Michigan Chronicle and
Citizen writers who talk about them to the younger folk like they were telling George Michael that he was going to get hop-ons.
Seriously, Jesse with that "he died in my arms" horseshit story. He and Al both wanted to redirect the movement away from racial issues towards economic ones as they fell across all races, that's white moderate Bernie style racism. Then after a decade of splitting apart the movement, spent the rest of their careers looking to advance a handful of specific "colored people" within parts of the Democratic Party.

Jesse and Al get a certain tag from "white" Americans because that's been their whole angle for fifty years. They're the ambulance chasers of the industry, that's why the Moderate Darlings™ on TV anointed them the two spokespeople for all black people on the planet. I don't think BLM has had much interest in informant Al's "assistance" or his "network" getting involved/taking charge as he's seemingly disappeared after leading Trayvon to heaven unless he's just been really good at hiding from me, once one of his five MSNBC viewers.
