Oh jesus fuck, somehow my voter registration didn't go through. I should have checked way earlier, that's on me. I guess I won't be voting.
Did they perm you immediately? I've got zero bans, but I'm also a nobody who doesn't post outside of community threads.

But that's the secret It's the ones who post in every single thread in off-topic or gaming, desperate to be a NeoGAF personality, that eventually burn out. The little folks keep on trucking
Hold on, you have to register every time?
For me I am Far more concerned about the quality of the game itself than the race or gender of a lead character or characters. It's not an issue or something I take notice of.
It's this post again.Where's that bingo card?
Sure, but it's an indifferent one that doesn't cater to either side of the argument. You're not hot or cold on the issue and that doesn't help anyone.

Then explain how BronsonLee still has an account
I'm a nobody but I'm one ban away from being permed.
GAF loved me, dammit.
Damm a lot of gaffers actually angry at Polygon saying not to pre order games. Quote http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1300017

I think I'm at 8 now. Not legendary PD levels but still good.
But because 2016 is a never-ending nightmare that will allow nothing good and pure to exist, all this comes with a condition:
Make no mistake: The Portland Retro Gaming Expo is still totally worth going to. But Rolfe typifies the kind of outdated, exclusionary thinking that gives gamers a bad name. The otherwise excellent Portland Retro Gaming Expo—not to mention Portland’s gamers—deserve better.
Natasha LeggeroThe always-hilarious Natasha Leggero is a slam dunk for comedy lovers. Armed with arm-length gloves and a faux sophisticated style, Natasha brilliantly skewers the narcissism of the upper class, and her crowd work is first rate. Miss her at your own peril! WM. Anthrax, Death AngelIn 1991 my extremely patient dad took my best friend and me to an unbelievably curated show called Clash of the Titans. This event featured Slayer, Megadeth, and, most importantly, Anthrax, who visually separated themselves from the other apocalyptic acts by performing on a safety yellow and red op-art stage with the gigantic head of Not Man, their Alfred E. Neumanesque mascot, as its centerpiece. Anthrax didn’t possess the typical death-and-skulls presentation, and instead proudly flaunted the cartoonish garb of East Coast skate-punk culture. This spoke to us in a way that other “serious” metal bands didn’t, while hip-hop forays like “I’m the Man” only solidified our love for guitarist Scott Ian. Since then I’ve always maintained to defiant purists that this influentially playful take on New York nihilism earned Anthrax their thrash-metal elder statesmen badges, if not a permanent place in the genre’s hall of fame. Of Montreal, TeenThe first time I saw Of Montreal live kind of felt like puberty—I was 15, sweaty, nervous, and surrounded by a support system of glittery friends and strangers. At that age, the walls of my childhood bedroom were plastered with the Southern experimental pop group’s posters, but even as a veteran listener, I felt out of place as I stood waiting for Kevin Barnes to explode onstage like a pink, swirling bath bomb. Though at first I felt far too square, young, and sober to access Of Montreal’s psychedelic, free love, my teen insecurities soon melted away and I became one of them—a self-assured disco sweetheart rising from the crowd in a cloud of sparkles as “Wraith Pinned to the Mist” blared before me. I watched as Barnes strutted across the stage and tossed his scarf with nonchalance, surrounded by dancers dressed as farm animals with human genitalia. Right then I realized just how holistic an artistic lifestyle the band’s members lead, and that there was no way this would be the last time I’d witness them living it. Of Montreal works in the business of identity definition, and their über-glam indie rock is deeply entrenched in overt sexuality and gender play. Pleasure as protest isn’t new, but their ever-growing catalog continues to present dance fare with purpose and freshness. MORGAN TROPERWonder Ballroom, 9pm, $16-18, all ages

Angelus errare on the loose again. After roughly two weeks.
I can't think of any reason why the alt-right can't be treated like a cluster of generally disorganized terrorist cells at this point.
I am not sure how we move on as a nation from this alt-right blight on our political discourse...hell, on everything. Someone at work told me to "watch a funny pepe video" on Friday. This crap is seeping into reality.
GamerGate is absolutely the "playbook" that all of this is based on. Anyone who dismisses that idea ignores the fact that the movement got into the international spotlight for a time and demonstrated its effectiveness to the right people. To think that the current level of political discourse in America is derived from a mass temper tantrum about video games, and ultimately one psycho ex-boyfriend. That Gjoni twit is essentially the Gavrilo Princip of the alt-right.
i've always looked upon the alt-right as a organic offshoot of gamergatethe scope of gamergate's hate has just been expanded from women to minorities and anti-fascists in general
Dude it really is crazy. I used to browse r/games as this started and it just completely turned me off to the site since then. Who would have thought some pimply neck beards would have had indirectly lead to Donald Trump (Can't forget how irrelevant he used to be) to challenging Hillary Clinton for president.
How does BobbyRoberts even have a job lololol
I think a lot of the potential 3rd-party voters and general "I will never vote for Hillary people" have realized just how damn satisfying it will be to vote for the woman that defeats Trump.
this was probably the right amount of effort this deserved(Image removed from quote.)
Just last week we had the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer thread with a whole bunch of white supremacist nonsense that resulted in the thread having to be locked. And did you see the first couple of Gamergate threads until moderation had to step in? The Feminist Frequency threads before strict moderation had to be enforced? Or when werewolves and laser guns in Victorian London were okay, but non-white people were not okay to ask for in Order 1886? Or when Mafia 3 was revealed and some people couldn't relate and would rather have White Italian Mafia #241515 once more? Or when Persona threads are obsessed about which of the female characters the players will possess? Or the thread about the lack of non-white protagonists in Detroit: Too Human or whatever it's called? and you should also see the threats, othering and dislikes that I personally get outside of Neogaf, even from regular 'neutral' GAF members and some active industry people here on GAF, as if they despise me for posting or creating threads related to 'diversity'.
I'm not going to throw stones at Brad yet (it is deplorable if the accusations are true). I just wanted to point out how the last thread had everyone talking about Angie as if she were some psychopath from Gone Girl that was making this all up. It was sick. Best wishes for the family. I hope the truth gets evened out for all of the kids sakes.
