Quote from: Garrett Hawke
Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the news tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck is this happening? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the FBI is so corrupt. I want a future to believe in. I want Hillary to be president and fix this broken country. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought she was polling well everywhere???? This is so fucked.

Please tell me this is a meme or some shit.

IIRC it was originally a Bernie fan reacting to FBI closing their investigation in June.

Holy shit that Pokemon thread

I'm 100% for more fluidity in games, but:

- This is Nintendo
- It's currently suitable for 99.99%+ of the population
- Children who are actually nonbinary have not complained about it

Ugh I promised I wouldn't get tied up in GAF shit but this is so ridiculous.

This is the problem with Game Freak allowing more trainer customization. Suddenly people want the whole horse.

This wouldn't be a problem if there were a single main player character like before Crystal.

Something I wonder when people complain about this: if the kid is indeed trans and knows it, won't they just pick the gender they identify with? Even then, Lot's of dudes pick girls and vice versa without being trans sooooo what are these people on about?

There do exist people who don't identify with either gender (or both), but I wonder about what they normally choose in other videogames too.

I think in an ideal world every game with player character customization would have a Saints Row gender slider, but games are a reflection of the times and it probably won't happen until there's a high penetration of pro-gender fluid thinking in world culture. So yeah, not happening with Nintendo this century. It's sort of amazing they added a female PC as early as they did (Crystal), does Yokai Watch even let you play as a girl?

I'm confident enough in my sexuality/gender identity to be able to play as a man, woman, otherkin, spacegoo, etc. as long as the game is good. If gender choices upset you in games, maybe it's time to stop playing games and get therapy.

It's one of the worst examples I've ever seen of the internet being shit, and I was genuinely worried for a while that there would end up being a tragedy of some sort because of the massive over-reaction to a mediocre game that didn't quite do what it promised. And this tweet, unfortunately, is only going to make things that much worse - regardless if it's a hack or not.

2K HQ was very keen on relocating staff to the more expensive Novato office to add to their 150+ person strong “Hanger 13” studio. Hanger 13 spent many years and many 10s of millions of dollars creating “Mafia III” which has recently tanked in reviews and has no hope of ever making its money back (it needs to sell ~8 million full price units to make up for its expenses, it has so far sold well under 1 million units).

I'm really enjoying Mafia 3, though it's not as good as 2. It lacks a lot of the little details that made Mafia 2 great.

a professional doesn't care about adding a couple dongles to their workstation set-up, or having them in their travel bag. It's a minor minor cost. The 210 dollar image floating around here is to make fun of Apple, but either a corporation pays it and doesn't care, or you go buy cheaper third party stuff from a reputable source like Belkin or Amazon Basics

The TB3 USB-C ports on the MBP are the most versatile and powerful ports on any consumer electronics device...and there are four of them. No castration going on there.
