wait, stop everything, oh my god:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=227762985&postcount=314If ever in a situation with Snyder's Batman it would save time and be less painful to put a bullet in your own head. I'd love to see Snyder do a predator mission in real life. A building filled with flgoons talking shit about Batman, the one guy who this was his last big gig before retirement, the guy who insisted the Batman was a myth cowardly criminals who are superstitious and scared of the dark tell themselves so they don't take on big gigs, and finally the deplorable fucker who admits to a string of other crimes and mentions his accomplices and how they all got away with it and where they are hiding. Snyder'd probably take out a few of them one by one until they notice they are fewer in numbers and then have Batman scare the shit out of them and make them act reckless and engage in some friendly fire after Batman throws smoke grenades, regular grenades and engaging in all sorts of ultra violence.
edit: so his endlessly detailed description made me look up the fight on
youtube just to watch since it is a cool fight and alfred is awesome
three things i note randomly
1. Batman totally kills like at least six of these goons directly though it's not like he couldn't exactly without going out of his way, which is probably more accurate than the comic fights where nobody dies. Though I've never been too highly concerned with the Batman never kills thing since he totally has in the comics and it was bullshit to throw that in Jean-Paul Valley's face when it was an error of omission due to his mental health problems ffs Bruce, Dick and Tim. (The "no guns" rule however, is allowed as a fair "trauma", and if only so Morrison can let him violate it in
Final Crisis in the most appropriate way.

)
2. the guy whose head hits the wall's blood smear is missing in every other shot, SNYDER IS A HACK
3. the bad guys don't stop to reload, they drop their guns instead when batman gets close for knives, this is something probably not noticed a lot but that's actually a neat detail to me, it's really rare in action scenes, i imagine somebody else when approached with the idea that well guns do run out of bullets would have them reloading or something so bats can smack em around, SNYDER IS BRILLIANT (following to an associated video, in batman's "nightmare" the superman goons fuck this up and he drops a couple of them and then all of them don't even try shooting him despite being at proper range but instead just run at him to try and club him, batman gives himself unfair advantages in his dreams smh)
spoiler (click to show/hide)
also, he shoots like ten dudes with a handgun and snaps one of their necks in his nightmare, so i guess his precious rules don't apply in his dreams either
