Pretty silly. I don't regard it as morally wrong for content like this to exist, and I'm not going to make fun of people for enjoying it, but i don't think this is particularly substantial and hope that people can present/take criticism of this in a calm, level headed manner.

OK so what content is it that people should be allowed to enjoy that some might take issue with in a Bomberman game?

It's really impressive that the "nexus of hardcore gamers" appears to know jack shit about arcade games. Blatant fanservice has pretty much always been one of the staples of arcade art and marketing material. This game, with similar artworks, could have been made decades ago.

I can't believe the redirect issues are still not fixed. This is just unacceptable at this point, it's been months and it's still occuring every day. Multiple times a day.

Keep in mind that I ripped out all the reskin ad crap from the front page recently, so that's basically a temporary page now pending major revisions to improve its aesthetics and functionality. It will be fully overhauled. Given how the front page is often hit by new visitors and such, with regulars often just bookmarking gaming/ot/etc. directly, I feel it makes sense to better convey pertinent information about the mission statement of the site, how the hell it works, how the registration process works, how you actually need to read the ToS and not just ignore it like with most sites, etc. I'd rather that sort of stuff be in there than an ugly-ass full-page takeover ad.
