I don't believe that there are a spectrum of gender possibilities. If someone has a sex change they haven't really become a member of the opposite gender, they have just had extreme plastic surgery. I have no objections to anyone going down this route, but to me gender confusion is just a form of mental illness.
So obviously I wouldn't teach my kids that there is a spectrum. That being said I don't go in for ridiculous gender stereotypes (pink for girls etc etc), and let my children follow their own interests.
