Snes pad looks like it doesn’t have an indention on x/y.

I prefer Saturn pad to Genesis because of 8 way dpad. That genesis pad is close enough. Get.

They have both SNES and SFC style buttons with the designs!  :)

I like the Saturn pad better, too, and perhaps one day 8Bitdo will make one- I got the Retrobit Saturn pad that came out (don't think it works with Switch) and returned it immediately.  The quality was just shit.

8Bitdo makes really solid controllers nowadays and they work perfectly with the Switch, plus you can use them with your PC, Android, etc.

Also watch and learn Sony. Nintendo allows you to go to eshop without closing the game you’re playing.

edit: is detention good?

You don‘t close the game when you open the PS Store though.

The PlayStation Vita has one of the worst library of games of any PlayStation console. Especially compared to the PSP. I don’t even like the Switch, but at least if I started a thread asking for JRPG recommendations it wouldn’t be filled with shit Idea Factory games and have to be prettied up by PS1 classics.

Oh boy it has Persona 4 Golden and an Uncharted game no one would give two shits about otherwise. It’s big marque title a PS2 port(FFXHD) is also on the Switch and better along with better versions of every PS1 FF and XII.

Great hardware. Terrible library of games that can probably all be played elsewhere.

Vita had a great library for people who like good games, and it allowed you to play those games on the go, which is the point you missed so very badly.

Such as....Usually when people make a point in these kind of things they point to some sort of games.

And no I did'nt miss it. I played a kind of shitty, but perfectly playable version of MGS2/3 on the Vita. I played Dead or Alive 5 on the train. I was able to play FFVI on car rides just like on the PSP.

But when I looked for good games beyond games I could already play better/comfy couch versions of, what was there. Senran Kagura? Boob games? Visual novels? Shitty jrpgs.

The Switch is'nt Vita 2 because there's actual exclusives for people that aren't looking to bottom feed.

Edit-Oh yeah Gravity Rush was great.....I'll just play the PS4 version now though.

About the only game I own thats best on the Vita is what....Muramasa.

Edit 2-Oreshika is kind of neat I guess.

Edit-3 Oh yeah Ys Memories was pretty fun and probably my favorite of the party member Ys games. I bought that when I got a Vita and had very little after that..

Way too many sexual references to be made...  ring tensions, squatting, inserting, strap-ons...  too easy.

They should make a Sonic game with that... running and grabbing rings and whatnot   :yeshrug

I can tell. I’m thinking of the Vita. I actually have options for non bottom of the barrel games on the Switch.

And of course it was the library that was part of the Vita’s failure. It’s crap. Unappealing to anyone not hovering over the new release section of Playasia.com. So yeah you Bork may find Valkyrie Burst Drive Girls or something a worthwhile release. Anyone not looking for just otaku level shit is screwed.

It’s so bad I’m taking a Nintendo console over it.

Great hardware though.

There were many great games you could only play portably on Vita at the time.

Wow 2 games that can be played anywhere. No, those aren’t my kind of games but I also wouldn’t need a Vita for those at all. I guess your point is the Vita as a portable made them better or something. But I don’t buy consoles to play games I can play everywhere else. I buy consoles to play games you need the console for(at the time anyway). And honestly it’s just the Vita that has this problem. Gameboy, DS, 3DS, and even PSP all had and/or still do have a library of games exclusives to them. Who’s buying a Switch for ports? Ports are neat after the fact. Yeah having FFXII a game I’ve played many times on the Switch is cool. But I sure didn’t buy the Switch to just play games I can play a multitude of other places.
The ignorance of the usual suspects is showing.

I mean I own a Vita. I didn’t just want to use it to play ports of indie games, PS1 games, and visual novels. That’s what the system became.

It also gets things like Astral Chain, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, and so on. Plus all those Nintendo games. So it’s hardly the same thing. I’m a weeb. I’m not a fucking creepy otaku though who plays shit like Neptunia or whatever. Which is what made up a huge bulk of the Vita.

Besides Binding of Isaac? Cadence of Hyrule looks like a step up from Crypt of the Necrodancer. There’s a new Chocobo Mystery Dungeon out. Tangledeep.

Mind, I haven’t played any of these besides BoI but they’re on my list.

Chocobo especially.
