how many points is the Dow gonna drop tomorrow?
It'll increase 357.4 dow points
This was pretty close if you doubled it and made it negative.

#Maga and Qanon land are incredible right now.

On the Hannity radio show (and a bunch of other pro-Flynn people) there's talk that Flynn was on a mission when he went to the RT dinner.
They say that he lured in Turkey and Russia to gather information as an undercover spy (really). Op-eds and all have been written.
There could be some truth to it as the investigations show that Flynn's group never did much lobbying (but maybe they were just incompetent?)

The Qanon people are of course happy with Trump's fight against the fed. But even happier with his tweet.
See, the movie Home Alone 2 has Kevin stuck alone at home (just like Trump!) and his family in Florida (just like Trump!).
So now something is really absolutely going to happen.  :lol

The Flynn story comes from Fox News circles. There's some stuff in there like Flynn's blatant OP to attack Gulen that reeled in Turkey as a client for his 'services'.
But details are a bit sketchy and there seems to be a lot of wishful thinking. But given the background of Flynn it isn't entirely out of the question.

Solomon of the Hill was first to bring it up in an interview

That there was some document that could help Flynn. And he now seems to have figured out that it contains information that Flynn was doing some sort of information gathering mission.
Now the question is if the document exists that is, did they ask him to get some information on Russia/Turkey because he was working for them. Or did he use that 'mission' as a cover for his own dirty work.

The Home Alone 2 story is undistilled Qanon  :lol

Remember when Kudlow said the health of the stock market is the best indicator of overall economic health?

Remember when market worshiping republicans ignored the market gains of...well, virtually Obama's entire presidency?

Remember when Obama basically ignored the stock market, like most competent presidents, and let it do its thing?

We're about 2k points from it dropping below where it was on inauguration day.

Going back further, I remember Republicans deciding the household survey was better for raw job numbers than the payroll survey when Bush was president (strictly cause the numbers looked better for a few months).

As soon as Obama took office, U6 suddenly became the "real" unemployment rate.

This Qanon story about Flynn doesn’t make a lick of sense, and this is one of those times when Nintex shows how little critical thinking he does about this stuff.

If Flynn was on a mission... who was he working for? The idea that the US government was hiring him while he was working for a campaign that was under Investigstion and somehow the FBI just... forgot that they had hired ha very high profile person as an informant makes zero sense.

Everyone is happy to throw people under the bus in the White House. Although Trump is usually happy with people who don't function very well and keeps them on as long as he can.
It took him a long time to get rid of Pruitt and other people who were clearly terrible at their jobs. Hell, he dragged his feet getting rid of Mike Flynn because he liked him.

Phoenixdarkmas prediction: Sanders gets blown out in the primaries, bows out and doesn't endorse anyone (until a nominee is chosen). Fervent Sanders allies like Nina Turner declare they may not vote for whoever the nominee is because he isn't progressive enough and we see continued efforts to attack the nominee from the left, leveraging social media.

Twitter's going to be unreadable during the primaries. Bernie stans are already hypersensitive and the Hillarybots are going to migrate to another candidate the way Sega fanboys jumped to Microsoft after the Dreamcast died.

And this time Trump won't have a competitive primary, so he'll be at rallies riffing on whatever's happening on the Dem side, like a racist sundowning version of MST3K. Not good!

I think there are a lot of people that voted for Bernie because of his policy positions and not because they thought he was the best person to actually implement them. He was just the only choice on the menu talking about stuff like Medicare for all, $15 minimum wage, and debt free college.

I don’t necessarily think people love Bernie because he’s Bernie, but because they like those policies. But those are basically Democratic Party Table Stakes now.
In a way, Bernie won the policy battle even after losing the nomination.

Someone pre-writing a thread and counting exactly how many tweets there are is way more psychotic than giving the audience a heads up that they're going to string together some related points.

Matthew Whitaker, the acting U.S. attorney general, has incorrectly claimed on his résumé and in government documents to have been named an Academic All-American while playing football at the University of Iowa, according to the documents and the organization that awards that honor.

Mr. Whitaker, who was a tight end on the Iowa team from 1990 to 1992, claimed to have been an Academic All-American in his biography on his former law firm’s website and on a résumé sent in 2014 to the chief executive of a now-closed patent-marketing firm, for which he sat on the advisory board. The résumé was included in documents released last month by the Federal Trade Commission.

Mr. Whitaker made the same claim in a 2010 application for an Iowa judgeship. And a Justice Department press release, issued in 2009 when Mr. Whitaker left his post as U.S. Attorney in Iowa, said he had been “an academic All-American football player.”

Barb Kowal, a spokeswoman for the awarding organization, also known as CoSIDA, said the group has no record that Mr. Whitaker was ever an Academic All-American.

Say what you want about Mr. New, but at least he hasn't voted with Republicans as often as Betom
