A senator from Georgia said on the Senate floor this week that he fears the government shutdown could affect his hometown of Atlanta and its plans for the Super Bowl.

“We’ve got a Super Bowl coming to Atlanta, Ga, in about three weeks. The biggest tourism event in the world this year, ” Sen. Johnny Isakson (R., Ga.) was reported by AJC.com as saying on the Senate floor this week. “What if the largest airport in the world, that’s going to bring people to the largest football game in the world, goes out of business because of TSA strikes?

“Then you’ve just cost millions of dollars to the United States of America, my home city of Atlanta and others.”

According to Reuters, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport expects more than 125,000 passengers during the Super Bowl rush on top of the usual 270,000 that pass through daily.

Security lines are reported to already be as long as three hours at Hartsfield.

Taitano said the whole incident started when the teens and four young African-Americans, who'd been preaching about the Bible nearby, started yelling and calling each other names.

It got pretty intense, Taitano said, so Nathan Phillips, an elder with the Omaha tribe, started playing his drum and chanting what she was told was a healing prayer, to help defuse the situation.

Phillips walked through the crowd, and Taitano said things were starting to calm down until he got to the grinning boy seen in the video.

Here's a fun #lifehack to try at home.

Look for a group of 30 - 50 people. Beat a drum and walk towards the center of the group.
Once you reach the center... BOOM you are suddenly surrounded by people!

WOW, this eye witness account of the scene sounds intense. Mandark is right I have to sit down.

You can judge for yourself. Here is video footage of the full incident, from the perspective of the black nationalists. Phillips enters the picture around the 1:12 mark, but if you skip to that part, you miss an hour of the Black Hebrew Israelites hurling obscenities at the students. They call them crackers, feggits, and pedophiles. At the 1:20 mark (which comes after the Phillips incident) they call one of the few black students the n-word and tell him that his friends are going to murder him and steal his organs. At the 1:25 mark, they complain that "you give feggits rights," which prompted booing from the students. Throughout the video they threaten the kids with violence, and attempt to goad them into attacking first. The students resisted these taunts admirably: They laughed at the hecklers, and they perform a few of their school's sports cheers.
