Also, I can't believe the team lunch that I took my team out to today was more lavish than what they're serving at the white house.

Stop 2019. I want to get off.

Also, it's pretty much a guarantee that the food was hours old by the time those kids got it. Anything over, like, 20 minutes is a death sentence for fast food.

Honestly all I can think about is how our coaches during our summer basketball camp in middle school thought it would be nice gesture to give us all McDonalds burgers and fries for our last day of camp.

So they came in with these boxes full of burgers at the beginning of the last scrimmage, 30-45 minutes later we got to eat.

It was then at that young age that I realized cold fast food is a special kind of cruelty that should not be wished upon your worst enemies. Rubbery burgers with cold onions on stale bread with soggy fries....Even the starvation of a week in non-AC gyms being fed cafeteria food and doing suicides every day couldn't get me to force that shit down.

Resetera efforts of reading the actual article up in here.

Quote
Communications director Kelsey Cooper called Shouldice Hernia Hospital “a private, world renowned hospital separate from any system and people come from around the world to pay cash for their services.”

One of the guys I play Xbox with is Canadian and he had a similar hernia surgery through the Canadian Healthcare System. Surgery was delayed three times over two months.

You know, this says quite a lot more about you than Resetera, you are the one coming off like the ignorant moron here. Canada =/= Britain.

You do know the difference between the two right?

I think at this point the plan is to keep the government shut down until the State of the Union.

Trump spends an hour ranting about brown people.

His big moment is when he turns around, looks at Pelosi, and says "only you can open the government and save our country"

Republicans all stand for an ovation.

12 hours later, Republicans look at snap polls to decide if its time to pull the plug on the shutdown.

Is this a prediction that they'll have to cave and pass a bill with dedicated wall funds?

I think The Donald is too much of a fast food connoisseur that he did the photoshoot and then got these into secret above NSA clearance technology that maintains the quality of fast food indefinitively. Or they were empty boxes.

I mean, the guy eats KFC on his plane, you think he's eating hours old KFC well after takeoff when everyone knows you have to borderline eat it in the car no matter how close your house is?!? No, he's got secret technology. Maybe from Russia, maybe not. Maybe it's what Putin has on him that he owes him for. That part is for Robert Mueller to determine. :trumps

FACT CHECK: At two inches each, a thousand burgers would not reach one mile high.

Had Trump instead invested his entire net worth — $3.1 billion per Forbes last year — on $5 sandwiches, each two inches high? A stack of hamburgers nearly 20,000 miles high.

It would require quite a large silver serving platter.

I think WaPo accidentally solved the border wall crisis.

However. To go along with my earlier idea of a massive peach tree forest on the border.

We just have to find out what food immigrants hate, and pile it up on the border.

Then when kids refuse to eat their food, the parents can go "I'm proud of you, for protecting our country" instead of using the illogical "starving kids in China" gambit. :american

Well, they've only been in power for a couple weeks. I have to assume there's more checks in place than "the House wills it" to release the private tax returns of anyone, even the President. I doubt they can even do it to other members on a whim. Presumably it's more likely of a situation where they are given them to view in private and they just happen to leak shortly thereafter, like pretty much everything else.
