The Biden thing is interesting in that it actually kind of is hard for him to answer.
He 100% did not take any corrupt actions, but his son is still benefitting from a corrupt system that laughs at American “meritocracy”.
In no way is Hunter unique, but I also feel like this separate fast track for sons and daughters of powerful people is what sunk Clinton, and has many disillusioned with American Politicians.

Hunter Biden actually has benefitted from a lot of the same sorts of “not corruption”.
- graduates from law school in 1996, is hired by one of his dads campaign contributors
- makes Executive Vice President in said company by 1998.
- somehow or another gets an age and drug waiver to join the Navy Reserve as a 40
Year old man, but almost immediately gets kicked out for popping positive on a drug test
- immediately goes to serve on boards to oil and gas companies in Ukraine
Again, not illegal, and no quid pro quo, but nobody came about those jobs completely honestly either, there is a sense of low level grift or attempts to by favor that many many Presidential kids are benefitting from.
Like many things, Trumps biggest defense is that he or his family are not the only ones that have done whatever corruption he’s doing, they are just doing it more blatantly.
