Reminds me of my favorite headline from the 2016 primary

"One Person Shows up to O'Malley Event in Iowa, Remains Uncommitted"
There was a similar event a couple months ago in Iowa for Joe Sestak. But I think it was like five people showed up, one remained uncommitted, the rest remained for Biden/Sanders/whoever.

It's absolutely amazing that this doesn't violate any laws in America.
This wouldn't fly anywhere else in the western world.
You make the rest of the western world sound like a police state.

Not surprised you come back solely to harass me right as I was trying to organize a new white sitcom tournament.

Kara’s a paper tiger in that realm. Why should you be anxious about a dude that didn’t even make it halfway through Blossom? Very little white sitcom credibility.

The Democratic debate confirmed it — we’ve entered the ‘Bernaissance’  :rejoice

Quote
In 2016, Hillary Clinton was firmly my candidate. There were reasons. For one, I was in the zone of the first female president. That seemed like something meaningful. Mock it, sure; I’m trying to tell the truth about how I felt then. For another, burning the whole place to the ground didn’t feel quite so urgent. Yes, President Obama had his issues, but I remembered George W. Bush, who had capital-I Issues. Clinton seemed the more electable candidate, and I was under the mistaken impression then that polls meant more than throwing a handful of glitter in the air and seeing where it lands.

Add to that Sanders’ refusal to cede the race for so long — divisive, I thought — and the patronizing, vicious manner of some of his supporters. I get their frustration now, sort of, as my own politics have moved to the left these last four years.

"No guid pro pro." "Now investigate Biden and his son" Hilarious.
Nothing will be found of course, but they can investigate until November 2020 to generate FoxNews sound bites. Benghazi, Benghazi!
How nice of the Democrats on the other hand to limit the impeachment trial to two weeks, so the Senate can promptly vote not to remove the criminal President from office and we can put the whole affair behind us quickly.

Go Joe! Honestly, you know, I’d kind of be happy if Biden was the norm since he’s the only candidate I’m sure could win Pennsylvania. That’s one battleground state we wouldn’t even have to begin to worry about. He could pull a Hillary on it and still carry it.

Ah, I forgot he was dutch.

That explains it.

Is there anything cool about the Dutch? Do they have a badass centuries old blood feud with the Flemish or anything like that? Anything notable at all? I think there's a stereotype about Dutch people and windmills, right? Killing birds is kind of cool, unless they're awesome birds. What birds do they have in... the Netherlands? Is Dutch culture appropriated from some Netherlish or Netherpeople that the Dutch genocided at some point?

I forgot about Amsterdam. Yes, I'd be a total American douchebag tourist there but I do have to admit I'd be interested in visiting there. Sorry for insulting you, Dutch people.

Still, a centuries-long blood feud with the Flemish would bump em up a few spots in the Euro Rankings. If there were myths and folklore about it with ugly old far Eastern European Baba Yaga bitch witches and greasy werewolves performing ritual antinomian acts upon each other, metaphorically sending red rockets through red wormholes.

This thread is like a donaghy trivection oven, it needs a couple different kinds of heat to be good. For example I'm enjoying Mandark trolling Bernie posters ruthlessly but the only conservatism we have is a trump retweet bot. I miss the days of JayDubya calling people scum over abortion and Contra + Triumph donating to Planned Parenthood every time he posted.

The problem is that since I started posting here, the quality of discourse has gone up tremendously
